AvenCentral Projects (Employment)

Preston Employment Partnership Project The project focuses upon disadvantaged individuals in the search for work i.e. lone parents, ethnic minorities, over 50's, women returnees, people with disabilities and those with low or no qualifications. The project works jointly with the key partners in Preston who are responsible for supporting local people into employment opportunities including; Preston City Council, Jobcentre Plus, community organisations, employment agencies and business groups. The aim is to deliver an outreach employment service into the local AvenCentral community. The project is particularly sensitive to specific individual needs including culture, equal opportunities and addressing any barriers to employment. Project Manager: Talat Khan Tel: 01772 903426
